Megan Bohlen

LPC, NCC

I believe healing and growth begins by experiencing unconditional positive regard, acceptance, and understanding. As a counselor, I am passionate about cultivating relationships and providing a warm, trusting, respectful and safe environment that allows an individual the space to explore innermost thoughts and feelings. I am honored to walk alongside my clients in their journeys to self-discovery and assist them in uncovering the skills and resources needed to help navigate any difficulties or challenges they may be facing in life.

I work with individuals of all ages seeking help with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, stress management, relationship issues, life changes, self-esteem, personal growth, postpartum depression/anxiety as well as many other areas of mental health.

My practice is grounded in a Rogerian theoretical perspective; I also utilize components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and am trained in EMDR.

Outside of my counseling practice I am most passionate about my family. My spouse and I are busy raising two amazing young girls. We have been growing and nurturing our family over the past several years and genuinely enjoy each moment and seeing the wonders of the world through their eyes. As a family we enjoy traveling to our cabin up North, visiting family in Washington, and spending time in nature. In my own personal free time I enjoy staying active, being creative, spending time outdoors, and enjoying laughs with friends and family.
