COVID might have you shut in, but your feelings don’t have to be:  Introducing Telehealth

COVID-19 prevention measures have us staying home, but that doesn’t mean your therapy has to stop. Or, if you’re new to therapy or to Life Counseling Center, it doesn’t mean we can’t help you.

We can.

We understand that anxiety, depression, marriage issues, and challenges raising children don’t go into hiding because they got the memo that we’re all practicing social distancing. In fact, we are hearing that counseling is needed now more than ever.

Introducing Telemental Health.

With the technology available through Doxy.me, we are providing teletherapy to our clients. As always, we are committed to providing our clients with the best possible care, and having the resources to meet online in a secure, effective way allows us to do just that.

We’ve made sure that your session remains confidential and secure. We’ve also selected a platform that is easy to use.

Patient onboarding is a piece of cake.

We’ve made the process as easy as possible for you. Just prior to your appointment,

a.     simply navigate to our waiting room.

b.     select your counselor or therapist.

c.     enter your name, and select “Check In” and your counselor or therapist will join you shortly.

More details about this process, for those who like to read the fine print:

This is technology you can trustWe are using a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform that you can trust.

No need to set up an account with the platform. It only requires that you have a device with a browser, microphone and speakers.  This means you can use a computer, tablet, or even your smartphone to meet with your therapist.  It is that easy.

Video is optional.  We are set up to do video with this platform, but don’t let this optional technology prevent you from getting the counseling help you might need. Counseling by phone is also available for those who prefer this option.

Professionals are ready to help. Each of our clinicians have training on this technology, and we’ve set up a waiting room to make it easy to meet your professional in private.

We’ve updated our processes for Telemental health. This is going to feel a bit different, but know that the details of these sessions will be managed for you. Our staff will work closely with you to complete all necessary paperwork, so you can quickly get the support and help you need.

Billing is being handledWe are working with payers during this difficult time, and can help you take care of this.  We have a process that makes paying for your session easy and seamless.
